Marian Rivera


Marian Gracia Rivera, more popularly known as Marian Rivera (born August 12, 1984 in Madrid, Spain) is an Filipina actress and commercial model. She rose to fame for her title role in the Philippine remake of MariMar.

Rivera's father is a Spaniard named Francisco Javier Gracia while her mother is a Filipina named Amalia Rivera. Her parents separated when she was 2 years of age. While her parents stayed in Spain where her mother worked as an OFW, and Marian was sent to live with her grandmother in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines.

Rivera began her career as a ramp and commercial model, which landed her with an appearance on TV advertisements for Skin White Lotion and Sky Flakes crackers. Production company TAPE Inc. then signed her to cast in a series of afternoon soap operas for GMA Network: Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat (where she was named as the "Best New Female Personality" at the 2006 PMPC Star Awards and Pinakamamahal. Oyo Boy Sotto was her leading man in these soaps. GMA Network then cast her into mother roles for the afternoon Philippine-Malaysian drama Muli and the primetime telefantasya Super Twins.

After which TAPE Inc., signed and casted her in a series of 3 afternoon soaps for the GMA Network: Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat and Pinakamamahal. Oyo Boy Sotto was her leading man in these three aforementioned soaps. GMA Network then casted her into mother roles for the afternoon Philippine-Malaysian drama Muli and the primetime telefantasya Super Twins. But her biggest break came when she won the title role of Marimar, the remake of the Mexican telenovela which starred Thalia. She auditioned and bested all other young stars who were vying for the highly-coveted role. Marimar is currently and consistently the highest rating show on Philippine primetime TV according to AGB Nielsen. Her team-up with one of GMA Network's most bankable young actors, Dingdong Dantes (playing Sergio Santibanez in Marimar), proved to be a huge success. GMA Network Executives dubbed her as "The Next Big Star." She is now tagged as Philippine's Primetime Princess after her successful debut starrer.




Megan Fox


Megan Denise Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress and model. Fox's career in modeling and acting began with her winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She began her acting with the film Holiday in the Sun (2001), later appearing in the films Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Crimes of Fashion, and the TV series The Help (all 2004). She is well known for her roles on the television series Hope & Faith (2004) and in the 2007 live-action film Transformers.

Katrina Halili


Maria Katrina Irene Pe Halili, or popularly known as Katrina Halili, is a Filipina actress of Chinese descent. She was born on January 4, 1986 in Quezon City but raised in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines.

Katrina Halili is an alumna of the StarStruck talent search and the cover girl of FHM Philippines since 2005 and recently Maxim Philippines in 2008. She was subsequently voted as FHM Philippines' sexiest woman for the year 2006 and bagged the title yet again in 2007. She is the first StarStruck contestant to top the FHM Philippines' 100 Sexiest list and the only Filipina celebrity to have won the title twice in a row. She is a three-time FHM Philippines covergirl [1]. With 123,000 votes, she placed 2nd to Marian Rivera in the 2008 Philippines' Finest (FHM 100 Philippines sexiest women list, cover girl).[2] During the same year, she was again chosen as the calendar girl for FHM Philippines for the second time. In addition, she also launched her own line of lingeries and swimsuits she called Playmates, and became an image model for the Belo Medical Group. Halili was formally launched as a character actress on Philippine television by way of Darna and Majika, two fantasy-themed series, wherein she played the villain to the character portrayed by Angel Locsin. GMA 7, her home studio, once again tapped her to play another villain role, and it was in the Philippine version of Marimar that she became a household name.[3] After her stint as villain on these TV programs, she finally starred on her first lead role in a daytime soap entitled Sine Novela: Magdusa Ka, where she was paired with her leading man Dennis Trillo. Before the last few episodes of this soap were shown, she began shooting for Obra, a primetime drama anthology where she showcased her versatility as an actress. She is also expected to be female lead role in a fantasy-themed series called Gagambino, where she will once again collaborate with Dennis Trillo.

Angel Locsin


Angel Locsin (born Angelica Colmenares on April 23, 1985), is a television and film actress, commercial model, film producer and fashion designer in the Philippines. Locsin rose to prominence after being cast as one of the lead stars in the fantasy-themed television series Mulawin in 2004. Soon after, she starred as the superheroine Darna in the TV adaptation of the Mars Ravelo comics. When her contract expired on March 2007, Angel did not renew her contract to her mother studio, GMA Network, and signed an exclusive contract in ABS-CBN despite her booming career on the first. Locsin is currently filming Land Down Under, her first movie in Star Cinema to be released on November 12, 2008 on theaters.

Diana Zubiri


Rosemarie Joy Garcia, better known by her stage name Diana Zubiri (born on April 15, 1985 in Bulacan, Philippines), is a Filipina actress. Zubiri was discovered by Seiko Films when she was 15 years of age after applying a work in Japan. [1] She then started on sexy roles on various films by Seiko. In October 2002, Zubiri became widely known[2] in the Philippines after posing on theEDSA-Shaw flyover in Mandaluyong City, wearing a two-piece bikini. That photoshoot for FHM Philippines sparked controversy and prompted the Mayor of the City to file charges against Zubiri and FHM but it was later withdrawn after an apology. In 2005, Zubiri slowly departed on sexy films and proceeded to becoming a TV actress in GMA Network. One of her notable roles was portraying Danaya in the Encantadia fantasy series. She is also a regular cast in the sketch-comedy program, Bubble Gang and starred on drama series like Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita and Danny Zialcita's Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan?.

Ehra Madrigal


Geralyn Madrigal Gaspar, who is better known by her screen name Ehra Madrigal (born June 25, 1985 in Quezon City, Philippines) is a Filipina actress.

Ehra is a talent of Annabelle Rama and is a contract artist of GMA Network. A high school graduate of St. Mary's College, Quezon City, she is the eldest sister of fellow actress Michelle Madrigal and the daughter of former actress Karla Kalua, whose real name is Katherine Ann Madrigal. She, her younger sister Michelle, and her mother are distant relatives of affluent Spanish-Visayan family, the Madrigal Family. After her teenybooper days, she got into a "leading lady" status in GMA Primetime shows like Lupin, Kamandag and among others. She becomes a Tanduay calendar girl and model for the year 2008 after Katrina Halili. Ehra became 2-time FHM Philippines covergirl for September 2006 and June 2008 while her sister Michelle became 1-time FHM covergirl for the same month as Ehra's but in 2007 issue. Aside from being a talent of GMA Network, she has also appeared in the movie My Bestfriend's Girlfriend with Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera. In an interview with the Philippine Star Supreme, Ehra reveals she loves cooking, saying: "Specialty ni Michelle beef caldereta. Ako, gusto kong niluluto yung mga sinigang o nilaga. O kaya salmon, bini-bake ko siya at nilalagyan ko ng olive oil na may basil. Mga healthy-healthy food." ("Michelle's specialty is beef caldereta. I like cooking sinigang or nilaga. Or salmon, which i bake with olive oli and basil. Healthy food.")

Iwa Motto


Aileen Quimapo Iwamoto (born August 29, 1988), popularly known by her screen name Iwa Moto, is a Filipina actress of Japanese descent. She is well known for playing Rita on Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap which was played before by the award winning actress Amy Austria in the original film.

Iwa was born in Las PiƱas City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Her Japanese father left the family to go back to his native Japan when Iwa was still very young. Her family then moved to Davao due to her stepfather's job assignment there. She would later move back to Manila to pursue her studies. It was then that a friend of hers convinced her to join the third season of the popular reality show StarStruck where she passed the auditions. She was one of the favorites among the finalists, eventually finishing First Princess (first runner-up). She currently appears in several GMA and Q shows.


Cristine Reyes


Christine Reyes (born Ara Cristine Pascual Reyes on February 5, 1989 in Marikina, Philippines) is a Filipina actress and known as she was one of the contestants of the reality talent search StarStruck on GMA 7. She is the sister of actress, Ara Mina and a former contract artist of GMA 7, but recently transferred to ABS-CBN.

Anne Curtis


Anne Ojales Curtis Smith populary known as Anne Curtis (Born on February 17, 1985 in Australia) is a Filipino-Australian television and film actress.

Curtis was born and raised in Australia by a Filipina mother and an Australian father. She lived in Australia until her lawyer father, James Curtis-Smith, moved to the Philippines when she was 12 years old.

Curtis appeared in supporting roles or in ensemble casts during the early part of her career, with most of her early TV shows airing on the GMA-7 Network in the Philippines in where she starred in shows like Love to Love, where she was partnered with Richard Gutierrez. In 2004, when she moved to ABS-CBN, Curtis received her first big break in Philippine primetime TV when she was cast in the role of Stephanie Borromeo in the TV series Hiram as the best friend and romantic rival of Margaret Benipayo, portrayed by Heart Evangelista. The role was a departure from her earlier, typical, teeny-bopper roles, and positioned Curtis for primetime. In 2005, her successful portrayal in Hiram led to her first title role as Imang/Fatima in the fantasy TV series Kampanerang Kuba.[1] In 2006 Curtis returned to primetime TV as Celine Magsaysay in drama series Maging Sino Ka Man, this time with new loveteam partner Sam Milby. Currently, she play as a goddess in the fantasy series Dyosa, still in ABS-CBN.

Angelica Panganiban


Angelica Panganiban (born on November 4, 1986 in the Caloocan City, Philippines) is a television and film actress. Hailed as one of the Philippines finest actress.

Angelica's parents separated when she was two years old. She has no memories of her father. In her childhood, Angelica had thought that her grandfather, Alfredo Panganiban, was her real father.

Angelica finished elementary school in 1999 at St. Vincent in Teacher’s Village, Quezon City, and her high school in 2003 at St. Vincent, West Avenue. The pretty lass was the Junior-Senior Prom Princess in 2002 and Miss Junior and Senior Prom in 2003.

She used to attend college at Thames International Business School Major in Mass Communication, but has to stop during sophomore year due to showbiz commitments.

Angelica is also a member of ABS-CBN's elite circle of homegrown talents properly named Star Magic. She started her career in showbiz at age 6 with her first show Ang TV in ABS-CBN. She also starred in the 2007 movie A Love Story with Aga Muhlach and Maricel Soriano, produced by Star Cinema. Angelica is currently the lead star of ABS-CBN's Iisa Pa Lamang.
